Addicted! -Kells

Yea I am. My shoulder is stopping me from going everyday but 4 times this week for me. :)

Had alot more firsts this week...you always learn something new everyday so its never dull and that is one of the many reasons I keep coming back.

-Met 1/2 Angie...meh I like Helen, Elizabeth and Cindy better.:P I am actually gonna call her the "Karen" of the group. This isn't someone who is easy on your shoulder but I am not gonna b*tch about it. Anyway still powered through the workout and I hope next time I do her I use smaller band and do 75! :)

Shoutout to Kto and Greengas for doing their first bandless pull up! :) I am so proud of them and I guess I have to hang out with the bands alone. tear haha.


-Front squats - 95lbs

- The Bear Complex...Roar..Do bears roar? or is that just lions? Anyway did from 35lbs-45lbs with my best time in my 5th round(45lbs - 2:15) I was getting the hang of the movements more each round and was alil tired but not really because I stayed on the lighter side to not make my injury worse. I know it is smarter to go lighter than hurt myself and be out for a long time. Idk what I would do then..go through withdrawal. haha I guess just squat everyday. :)

-Deadlifted 175lbs 3 times. My PR is 185 but I remember last time I struggled getting 175 up consistently. Not that it was easy, but it felt easier than last time and I didn't fail. Failing anything sucks.

-Uppercutted my nose with the bar while doing a push press....that also sucks hardcore.

Oh and awesome note. I did 17 burpees in 1 minute. Sometimes I surprise myself. Before we did it I thought...okay sprint 100m and then hope to get 10-12 burpees in a minute.

Just goes to show the results are there if you put out the effort and that is the most rewarding part. :)

  1. Um, Kells, forgetting something HUGE from Tuesday? How we represented beer-loving-crossfitters everywhere by crushing the box jump challenge?

    Our box was HOT. Don't forget it.
